Rosie's Place Names Sue Chandler Chief External Relations Officer

Rosie's Place, a multi-service community center for poor and homeless women, has named Sue Chandler Chief External Relations Officer. Chandler will lead the organization's external relations efforts as part of the executive management team.

She will serve as the primary fundraiser for the organization and will oversee Rosie's Place's Development, Communications, Community Engagement and Public Policy departments.

"We are excited to welcome Sue and look forward to the expertise and insight she will bring to our important work," said Rosie's Place President/CEO Leemarie Mosca

Prior to this role, Chandler served for 14 years as Executive Director of DOVE, a domestic violence service and prevention organization. With over two decades of experience working in nonprofit senior management, fundraising and external relations roles in health and human services organizations, Chandler has also worked at Northeastern University's Center for Community Health Education, Research and Service (CCHERS), Inc., Suffolk University and Migrant Health Promotion.

Chandler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from Bowdoin College and Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Michigan.
