On Monday, December 19, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu visited Ellis Early Learning alongside New England Conservatory (NEC) President Andrea Kalyn, Superintendent of Boston Public Schools (BPS) Mary Skipper, and ABCD President and CEO Sharon Scott-Chandler to announce a new partnership between BPS, Ellis, ABCD and NEC to bring music programs to our students through a $14.5 million grant.

The goal of the partnership is to substantially increase access to high-quality music education for children with an expansion of resources to provide young people music education that is instrumental to their academic growth, especially students who don't typically have access to arts opportunities.
